Do you feel like some days you're completely empowered and grounded, and some days you're completely the opposite? And all you want is to find a balance regardless of what's going on in your life?
If you've been following along, you've noticed I talk a lot about finding + developing a practice. A practice is your solution to keep a steady, precise, high vibration regardless of what's going on around you!
What you think reflects in what you feel, and what you feel is your vibration. Your vibration attracts everything that comes into your life. This is why it's sooo important to have a meditation practice —to find steadiness in your days.
And how do we do all this?
We develop a daily spiritual practice each day to nurture our deep inner being.
What's our foundation?
What is meditation?
It's you sitting and giving it a try. That's it.
Because it is the way to connect with our true self, the purest form of you.
Why do we want to connect with our true selves?
Because an empty life is no fun! Also, I think it's safe to say it's a little overwhelming, to say the least out there in the world right now, and not to lose our minds, we need to know what our purpose is. The only way to know is by having a one-on-one with your true self.
Meditation opens up our heart and takes you through a self-discovery journey to find your rock.
Your rock, your crystal, your soul is a diamond. It reflects, it's pure and clear, it's the most precious part in you. It's your conduit to an infinite source of energy. It can also be that place in your heart where you feel empty like you are missing a piece inside, but you just can't figure out what it is. You have disconnected quite a bit from it, and now it's time to reconnect. You know exactly where it sits in your body, and you can raise your hand right now and place it where the emptiness feels. Your heart, perhaps?
Do you know yourself well? Well enough to understand why you are missing a piece within? That missing piece is the connection with your soul. Everything we experience is external; what we touch, hear, see, and is in the outside world. But just like we learn to interact with the outer world in our baby years, we have to learn to interact with our inner world in our adult years. Any form of meditation — visualization, mantra, yoga — allows you to experience and reconnect with your soul, to find that balance and your real purpose.
The biggest and most common mistake i see is that we tend to think that meditation has to be this sacrad sitting quiet two hour practice. Nop. Meditation is the action of living. Life is an active meditation. All you need is your intention to sit with you for a few minutes. It can be in the car, at the airport line. Silence is the most beautiful form of meditation. Wherever you are, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and start listening to what is around you. All the noises, all the sounds — just listen. If you find yourself commenting, thinking, judging, gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings, change your channel before, and listen to the sounds around you.
