Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Maria's healing journey began at a young age under South American teachers. She was captivated by the deeply rooted energies of her homeland and pursued extensive studies in various philosophies and spiritual fields. Maria explored Transcendental Meditation and Vipassana Meditation, studied Reiki across different cultures, and delved into Sound Healing, Transactional Theory, Family Constellations, and German New Medicine (GNM). She is a student of A Course in Miracles and has learned Human Biography, one of her favorite subjects. Maria is certified in Biofield Intuitive Balance, Healing Touch (HTCP), Spinal Energetics, Pranic Healing, Breathwork, and Ayurveda Counseling. Currently, she is completing her Medical Intuition certification (NOMI).
Maria believes that the act of searching within is the most beautiful journey one can undertake. Her prayer is to inspire others on this path and to magnify the abundance within them. She emphasizes that seeking answers from within is essential, and if you are here, you are ready.
Maria is a Kundalini Yoga, Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga, and Meditation teacher. She has studied with remarkable teachers, including Guru Singh, Krishna Kaur, Guru Prem, Tej Kaur Khalsa, and Gurmukh. Her goal is to inspire others to develop a healing practice.
Maria attended Art School and minored in Art Therapy and Philosophy. Combined with her MBA, she worked as a Creative Director for brands like Victoria's Secret, Pink, Justice, Pure Barre, Barre3, and Skin Perfect. She also launched a women's clothing brand focused on the Mind, Body, and Soul. Every item in her store is designed, created, and written by Maria and her guides to elevate your practice, support your journey, and ground your power.
Spiritual Laundry is a combination of Maria's paths as a healer, teacher, and artist. She has been married for 15 years, has two incredible dogs, and recently moved to Southern California to escape the snow. Maria expresses gratitude for your presence, curiosity, and openness. She believes healing is a personal act of responsibility, crucial for our well-being and survival.
